Little Words

I probably heard the three words that my son said to me today a thousand times. I don't know why they affected me in the way they did today but they did.
I was dropping Zach off at school this morning and he said "Bye Dad" as he shut the car door. I drove off and the first word hit me, Dad. Yes I was Dad and a warm feeling of love and pride hit me. I was his Dad and he is my Son. A word I share with so many other men but uniquely only I possess.
Later that day when I picked him up from school I took him to his Mother's he said the other two words. "Love You Dad". Yeah, the word Dad took on a new meaning. I don't have to say anymore, as any parent knows how I felt when I heard those words. He probably didn't realize or think twice what he had said. Yesterday or last week it may have been said and I didn't give it a second thought. But for some reason today it meant the world to me.
Thanks, and Love You Too, Son.

In My Opinion.....

I think that the University of Utah has a real claim to the National Championship title. Why you ask, Well first they went undefeated with a record of 13-0. They beat 4th ranked Alabama who was number one for five straight weeks in the Sugar Bowl. The win was a complete domination of the Crimson Tide. In the regular season they beat Michigan from the Big Ten. They beat Oregon State from the PAC Ten who beat USC. Now that was three teams from three difference BCS conferences.
No other school cam claim what Utah did this season. I remember when BYU was handed the National championship for going undefeated and their bowl game was the holiday Bowl against a weak Michigan team who went 6-5 that year. It goes on to show that they have to do something with the system of picking the National Champ.
So regardless who wins the Game between Florida and Oklahoma the National Champions have been crowned. The Utes from the University of Utah.

A Little Sour Grapes

It was still a great season for Penn State and they are the Big Ten Champions!!

Now for my take on the game. Bad bad calls at the worse times for Penn State. I know what your thinking, He's just upset with the way the game played out. Sure I think Penn State did a poor job in the secondary. The Defensive Coordinator did no adjustments and failed to blitz at the beginning of the game. He allowed the Trojans to set the tempo of the game. I thought the sportsmanship of the USC was horrible. The cheap shots that the Refs never called. Celebrating on the field and the Refs doing nothing to stop it. The worse thing about the game didn't happen on the field but up in the booth. Brett Musberger and his sidekick where so unprofessional throughout the game. Calling the game before the first half was over. The side kick,(don't know his name nor do I think any of you do or care(Worthless punk)too.) Stating it was going to be 66 to 7 by the end of the game. Praising the no good worthless egomaniac Petey Carroll. He was a joke in the NFL and I hope he returns so he can have his #@% handed back to him on a platter. Did you notice after the game he said nothing about Penn State it was all about his team. Brett Musburger should have been sent to pasture years ago.

Look I can handle my teams losing. But what gets my blood boiling is Bad Refs and lousy booths calling games. I want the booth to be impartial and when the game ends I want to be clueless to who they were rooting for.

Well I just want to say I'm proud how the players played and looking forward to next year when Penn State takes it all the way.
